Director, Kelly McNamara Corley Institute for Diversity & Inclusion Education
Craig Sawyer joined the Antonin Scalia Law School as the Director of the Kelly McNamara Corley Institute for Diversity & Inclusion Education in 2019. A United States Army veteran who served in Iraq, Craig graduated from Georgia State University with a BSW (Social Work) and a MPA (Public Administration). Craig started his civilian career as an EO Compliance Officer and later Statistician with the United States Department of Labor, Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs. He has been responsible for Diversity, Inclusion, and EEO at Cingular Wireless, Deloitte Consulting, Abbott Laboratories, Starbucks Coffee Company, Raytheon, and most recently, the United States Department of Homeland Security.
Craig has been a leader in developing, understanding, and executing data-driven approaches to diversity and inclusion and has extensive training experience. His knowledge and experience are extremely valuable to the Corley Institute and to Scalia Law students as they prepare to enter the legal marketplace.
